I first heard TMBG at the same time I was discovering 88.5 WXBN. I guess it was about 1991 and I was driving around hunting for something good on the radio. I heard the Cure playing on the 88.5 and then Birdhouse in your soul came on. Of course I had no idea what it was but I loved it and became hooked on there music and there wacky art.
