Woot! Phone, Kingston and PCUSA rebates, Ruby, kate Ginny.com and delval cancells a cource.

We got our woot.com phone yesterday. I was worried because alot of people were reporting that they were haveing battery and cradle problems. Sarah called me today and the phones seem fine. So it turned out to be a good deal for phones that sell for @130 brand new. We got them for 40 shipped.

Still no info on the Kingston rebates.

I ordered some photo paper and a 4 port USB hub that after rebates would all be free save for 4 bucks shipping. we got the stuff and I will be sending the rebates in tomorrow. Once we get the cards payed off I will go for some bigger stuff.

We got Ruby's paperwork and sent it off. We had the letter tracked so I know that they got it yesterday.

kate is trying to submit a claim to our insurance company. If it goes through we will be getting back even more money at some point.

I ordered soem cookie tins from a site called Ginny.com. They have household stuff. There was a code for $15 off. The tins were $9 and shipping was $4 something. So Ill see if that goes through.

DelVal called and said my intro to phylosophy was cancelled so I had to pick put something else. I ended up with Analyzing Computer info systems on Friday and Senior projects on Saturday morning.

Skateing rained out, and whoa more money back from teh Gov.

I could actually skate around the park today :o) Then it started to rain. I skted on like a troooper untill it got into a steady rain.

I figured out that when i turn on my Lyra that it come up to a screen letting my choose between internal and exteranl memory and that I should then go up one level. At that point it gives me the option of how I want to play the music I pick by Title and then play and it will then shuffle between both memory places, yhea! i have 4 Cure albums, 5 other albums and some misc songs between the 256 and 128. They are all mp3s at about 80 to 90 kbs. The mp3pro encoder still crashes my machine.

Not only does it look like we will be getting over $4000 back from teh Fed gov but, it looks like we qualify for tax forgivenss from the state and will get $922 back...wow watch out for some big spending comeing up soon.

Cure to go and bought a new phone.

Well I am just loving my mp3 player. I have 3 cure albums on the 128 internal memory and a bunch of stuff on teh 256mg SD card. I can't wait to get the encoding figured out and then just jam the thing full of music.

I remember way back when i was living at home I had all of my CDs lined up and I longed for a 5 disc changer to shuffle some music together. Then i saw the 200 disc changers. I never got either back then. Sarah and I did get a 5 disc changer a couple years ago. Then last year I ripped all our cds into the PC and set it up to play out through the stereo :) And now i have the mp3 player to carry a nice sized selection with me.... Now I just need to get an iPod like device ;o)

We ordered a dual handset phone from Woot.com last night. OUr current phone is dying and not holding a charge. I gues we could get a battery but the buttons are going bad and he answering machine part is messing up.

I skated to day and the one thing about using the MP3 player is that if you slam bad it just keeps playing and sort of mocking you. I came back in from a disaster with out my back foot on the tail and ended up diving to the bottom and slaming my knee pretty good. I laied there in pain and the music just kept goig. i had to shut it off so I could reveal in the pain.

I did a quick tax return and it looks like we might get @4000 + whoa.....

Lyra 2010, Kingston 256, Iron Hill Brewery and cleaned out the PC

I think I wrote that I got my Lyra RD 2010. i love it. Now I want a big storage mp3 player also. I wrote a review for it on Amazon.

I completed the first part of my SD card SlickDeal.
1. Ordered 2 Kingston 256mb SD cards from OnSale.com. Free shipping. @52
2. Sold one for $20 to a co-worker.
3. Sent in Rebates.
4. The rebate will be for $30 total so I will have spent $2 for my 256mb card, nice :o) I could have sold the other on ebay but then I would have had to deal with shipping and ebay and paypal fees so this worked out nice.

Now to look for a phone and big hard drive.

I got a growler of beer from Iron Hill Brewery. Not bad it was $12 and $10 for refills, where as Rock bottom is 7.50 for refills but Iron Hill is closer...

Almost forgot I did a complet wipe clean of the computer this weekend and made better sized partitions for everything.

Blog Slack

Whew, I am slacking a bit. Here are some quick updates:

MP3 player: Lyra rd2010 should be here today. I ordered 2 256mb SD cards for $52 with $30 in rebates. I hope to sell one for at least $20 on ebay and keep one for free. I wanted to try the same thing with 512mb cards but it would have been more of a risk and The one would still not have been free.

Skateing has been good. I have been able to relearn some stuff. Ollie to tail being one. The park is still snowy.

we are still awaiting the letter from the Doc to get Rubys SS# so we can do our taxes and pay off kate and eric.

Whose been skateing my clean ramp....

When i got to the park today there were two towels at the ramp. Somebody must have been surprised to see that ramp was clear. I guess they didnt bring shovels because the ramp was not any clearer than yesterday save for the light stuff that melted off. i did bring my camera today and took some pics of the snow covered park and some avi's of myself skateing. maybe if i can figure out how to post some pics I will do that.

i put a bunch of stuff on eBay last night. i am obsessed with getting a MP3 player now....

Devotion to determination to desperation to skating

I went out to the ramp and the one part was still covered in snow. So I got to work pushing snow off and shopping off Ice. I got it down pretty far and got a bit board with it. I started trying to do caspers and stuff on the flat. I then cleared off a little spot on the icy side and dropped in :o) it was no turning back after that. I did axle stalls and disasters and fakie rocks. Fun, i even started rolling over the icy part. Good thing I had skated the ramp wet before and knew that it wasn't all that slippery.
So even with snow covering the out edges I now have about 8 feet in the middle to work with. Maybe the ice will melt more this afternoon.

Gryphons running a fever so thats the next big problem lumming...
