The historic Mount Holly monkey statue was stolen on New Year's Eve in 2003. It was part of an outdoor display of 14 sculptures.

Two other statues swiped that night were recovered in an attic. But the monkey remained missing.

Township landmarks are painted on the monkey's body.

No charges will be filed.
