This was a good weekend for Beer. First I had my Fosters for our party Friday night. The party went well it was Amy/ Chris, Rowan/ Peter and Sarah/ Me. Sarah made yummy Enchiladas and then we watched two Family Guy episodes while our food settled. Then we broke out the DDR and everybody enjoyed that. Sarah had me get the Karaoke machine out which kind of killed the mode but I think people were ready to leave by then, 12am. Lightweights! Peter and I got a couple runs in on SSX3.
Saturday we went to Shannon and Rich's. I am not a very good conversationalist and they tend to talk of more serious matters. I didn't really have anything to talk about so I felt kind of bad. Rich did have some good pale ales and made some good Pizza from scratch. I thought that the beer would loosen me up a bit and I could talk a bit easier but nothing was happening. I get accused of being rude when I am not chatty but I am just shy and only really get chatty when something comes up that I have good knowledge of...
Sunday we ran out to Target in the morning. With the iPod shuffle coming out it seems that the other flash based mp3 players are starting to come down. I had my eye on the Rio Forge 256 for $123. I have put 3 star wars plates on eBay that may get me $60+ so I will have to keep an eye on eBay for the Rio Forge 128. It seems to go for about $40 to $60 +$12 for shipping. Sunday afternoon we went up to Sarah's parents to watch some Family guy. Gryphon watched Toy Story for the first time and did not seem to impressed. its not something we would normally let him watch but, we needed a good distraction so we could watch family guy. Oh, I had some Negro something beer there. about 3, its a decent Mexican beer.
Today for lunch I went and worked at clearing the mini-ramp. I did not think I would get far but I just about cleared the whole ramp. If I had a shovel I could clear a path to the ramp. I go back tomorrow and see if the ice melted of the one side that was not in direct sun light.
