Installed the Android SDK...

I don't have a cell phone right now but if I did I would get the HTC G1. It runs on google's Android OS. I thought it would be fun to take a look at making applications for the OS so I installed the development kit on my Linux Ubuntu laptop. I followed the directions here: http://www.howtoforge.com/installing-google-android-sdk1.0-on-ubuntu8.04-desktop

Below is the screenshot of the emulator with my first application, Hello Android. :o) So now it looks like I have to learn java ...

Solebury Orchards...

So day 6 with the Gill's finds us apple picking at Solebury Orchards. We got some background on apples and then picked some apples.

One cool thing is that if you take an seed from one kind of apple and plant it, you will most likely get another type of apple tree.

The Nissan heads to Craigs list...

In fixing the Jetta we found that we only need tires, the clutch disc, and a heater tube. So the Stanza is getting sold via Craigs list. The first person that emailed was a scammer and we are not going to get the full amount from the 2nd person but it should cover most of the parts that we need.

Wrightstown Village Renaissance Faire...

This is the third year we have gone to this Faire. It's a great deal. Kids under 8 are free and everyone else is $5. There are a lot of , free, things for the kids to do and enough to keep the adults and older kids entertained as well.

This on day 3 of hanging with the Gill's.

Ruby hoops...

Ruby got the hang of hooping on at the Hooping party...

Hanging with the Gill's...

Some pictures of Our kids with the Gills...  Some how we have ended up seeing them everyday this week... 6 days so far and it could possibly stretch to 8. No problem though. We love to hang with the Gill's.

Old Skate spots from Phillly...

I walked around after my interview last week and took some photos of some now banned skate spots in Philly.

First up are the butter smooth ledges of LOVE park.

Then a planter that is supposed to keep people from grinding the ledges. The planter it self appears to be a popular spot to grind...

This next picture has a ledge that I always thought was like waste high and was proud to have been able to ollie onto... turns out that it is not even up to my knees.

The area that the ledge above was at also had these benches that were super slick... now they have big notches cut into them to keep people off of them.

In the same location as the bench and ledge above, they added a bunch of huge games pieces. Most of them were just dying to be skated. Take a look at this perfect metal domino that saw some action...
