Return of the Jetta...

The Jetta can now come out of hiding and driving around in the early morning and dark hours of the day.

The Check Engine light went out on Saturday and after a busy week, we got the Jetta back to the garage for it's one free 2nd try to pass. I was on the phone with the mechanic as he hooked up the OBD2 machine to the Jetta and waited in suspense as we waited for the data to transmit. He kept saying " the blue bar is moving , and moving..." I told him it was almost to much suspense... Then, it was over. It asked for the sticker number. The Jetta had passed!! He said the codes were still stored in the computer memory but since the light went out the sensors must have cleared and after the passing he was going to wipe the codes out.

It was nice to finnally put that stresser behind us...

One thing I like about my new job, it's a short walk from main street in Doylestown.

PS2 is in the house again...

I did some computer work for our friends and as payment they gave us a PS2 that they had bought and never used much. Wahoo. It's the bigger PS2 but it doesn't play the games any different and it's said to be easer to play 'back-ups' on...

The evil OBD2 light went off...

Now, will it stay off long enough to pass inspection?

I really screwed up the set up of the iPAQ last week. The back up file was not working correctly and things didn't seem to want to install right either. But it looks like some of things are working again, like emailing photos to the BLOG.
