5 Different cones Posted by Hello

My wife and I came across a site about 5 years ago that had pictures of cones and had funny captions to go along. We cracked up about them so much. I would like to offer up some of my most recent and at some point put up some captions...feel free to chime in. Posted by Hello

Oh, I found the hunk of Wax and through it down toward the creek... Posted by Hello

Here are some bits of wax on the deck. All in all its almost ruined it for me. I know I will fall many more times than I should. You cant even hit a nice solid FrontSide Rock and roll without the board slipping as soon as you rock. I hope the sun or something melts it off... these ramps were not even slippery when it was raining now, now its bad. I bet it was the bladers they never seem happy with the copping. Posted by Hello

Not only do you lose the feel on the coping but as your wheels roll over it they also get a layer of wax. They then transfer this to the ramp surfaces and the deck close to the lip(coping). When you do a grind and come back into the ramp you need to pump at the bottom of the transition of the ramp to keep up your speed. To do this you sort of push into the ramp as well as make any direction changes you need to make. But now that you have wax on your wheels, when you go to make the small adjust ment you end up with your board sliding out fro munder you or you feel a slight slip that makes you pull up and not get a proper pump or turn in. And then now that you are afraid to slide out you may be a bit hesatint to try to ride a sketchy trick out for fear of slaming. Posted by Hello

You can Kind of see the freaking wax here on the coping. Its the pink stuff. Wax makes the coping like ice. When you get into a grind on it you cant feel a thing. Doing tricks on the coping rely on being able to feel through the board and trucks and being able to control your path. Imagine running and jumping on cemet and then try the same thing on ice... Posted by Hello

I thought I had horrible credit...

Well I was looking at my credit rating on my Providian CC home page. It is 677, and accoriding to this:

In general, you are likely to be considered a better credit risk if your FICO score is high. Under mortgage lending guidelines, for example, a score of 650 or above indicates a very good credit history. People with these scores will usually find obtaining credit quick and easy, and will have a good chance to get it on favorable terms.

I have an above average credit history. It's probably due to the bankruptcy almost 5 years ago.

Later I have some pictures of !@$%ing wax on the mini-ramp.

Skateing snow, shoveling snow, iPod looks like snow...

Well Yesterday the snow came in like crazy so skateing was out. I did get the chance to play with an iPod though. Apperently this lady at works son...was givin an iPod by a teacher at college. Now the iPod supposidly was in lost in found for a long time and then they gave it to the teacher...why do I smell soemthing fishy? If I lost my iPod, you know I would be in the lost and found every day untill that thing showed up. Anyway. He had to go by a usb cable for it and the PC they have at home does not have a USB port, yikes! So she brouht it in I figured out he model, charged it up, DL the manuals and then copied the 3.5 gigs worth of music that was on the 20gig ipod. I did also take a walk with it and boy am i hooked. I need something like that. The cool thing is that by the time i can afford one Ill be able to get something like it that will hold more music for cheaper probably.

Today the snow was on the ramp. I walked over to the ramp and somebody had left a big fat shovel! So I shoveled for about 20 minutes and then the ramp was wet so I changed and just did some simple stuff till the the ramp dryed up and by the time I left the ramp was dry. Feels good!

My rebates from kingston are in processing...I havent heard anything from PCusa and I have to mail my CompUSA rebates.

The wireless mouse is really nice. I have liked all the Microsoft mice that we have had so far.

Nice day. bought stuff rubys birth certif

It a beutiful day today. The mini is clear and dry, although some dumb asses waxed hte heck out of the lip so it was like ice. I suspect the roller bladers. The rest of the park is still a mess. I am itching to take some cracks at the spine and hip.

We got Rubys birth certificate so hopefully the SS # will not be far behind.

We just about maxed out the PayPal CC so the refund will come a good time and then I have to avoid putting food and gass on the card. I hate buying stuff on credit that gets used up right away. I did get a couple good things though. I got a nice wireless Microsoft mouse for @$10 after a $35 instant rebate and a $5 mail in rebate. I also got a FAR PS2 DVD remote ($5).

My things to get now are on my amazon wish list...take a look and buy me something if you want :o) If you have read some of my posts you should be able to figure out my wish list at amazon.

Woot! Phone, Kingston and PCUSA rebates, Ruby, kate Ginny.com and delval cancells a cource.

We got our woot.com phone yesterday. I was worried because alot of people were reporting that they were haveing battery and cradle problems. Sarah called me today and the phones seem fine. So it turned out to be a good deal for phones that sell for @130 brand new. We got them for 40 shipped.

Still no info on the Kingston rebates.

I ordered some photo paper and a 4 port USB hub that after rebates would all be free save for 4 bucks shipping. we got the stuff and I will be sending the rebates in tomorrow. Once we get the cards payed off I will go for some bigger stuff.

We got Ruby's paperwork and sent it off. We had the letter tracked so I know that they got it yesterday.

kate is trying to submit a claim to our insurance company. If it goes through we will be getting back even more money at some point.

I ordered soem cookie tins from a site called Ginny.com. They have household stuff. There was a code for $15 off. The tins were $9 and shipping was $4 something. So Ill see if that goes through.

DelVal called and said my intro to phylosophy was cancelled so I had to pick put something else. I ended up with Analyzing Computer info systems on Friday and Senior projects on Saturday morning.

Skateing rained out, and whoa more money back from teh Gov.

I could actually skate around the park today :o) Then it started to rain. I skted on like a troooper untill it got into a steady rain.

I figured out that when i turn on my Lyra that it come up to a screen letting my choose between internal and exteranl memory and that I should then go up one level. At that point it gives me the option of how I want to play the music I pick by Title and then play and it will then shuffle between both memory places, yhea! i have 4 Cure albums, 5 other albums and some misc songs between the 256 and 128. They are all mp3s at about 80 to 90 kbs. The mp3pro encoder still crashes my machine.

Not only does it look like we will be getting over $4000 back from teh Fed gov but, it looks like we qualify for tax forgivenss from the state and will get $922 back...wow watch out for some big spending comeing up soon.
