Tried to watch Avatar last night...
Maybe I was just tired but I turned off just as the main (dorky) character was captured. I imagine that the movie was great to see on the big screen in 3d. There seemed to be a lot of "look at this isn't it cool in 3D" shots. I'll have to give it another try sometime.

With wipers fixed we move on to the Emergency room...
Doctors office was closed by the time we were towed and fixed the wipers.
Rain and broken windsheild wipers...
Driving to the Doctors in the pouring rain and the windsheild wipers give. Of course this happens as we are going through Cattle Shoots of 309 around a curve at speed. So me and Sarah have our heads out the windows till we can find a safe place to pull off. There is more to the story but it involves calling and signing up for AAA on the spot....

Blogger template designer worked well on the iPad...
Odd thing was that It would not recognize the "compose" text box when creating a new post. I had to switch to the "edit HTML" box.
Weekend with the iPad...
I am going to turn of our desktop and media laptop and just use the iPad and my phone for the weekend. I havnt been doing any thing to heavy on the computers anyway so this shouldn't be to hard...

The little Acer TravelMate comes back to me...
I had given this to my sister about two years ago. She recently got a new laptop so this one came home with me. I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 10 going on. Like all old laptops this one needs a new battery and it could use a new keyboard or some replacement keys.
